Yolonda "Kathie" (Moore) Gladish, 74, died on Friday, September 24, 2010 in her son's home, Mark Hagen of Minot, N.D.
She was the daughter of the late Leo W. (Peanut) and Jane J. (O'Toole) Moore.
Kathie had previously lived in Vincennes and moved to Minot, ND in 2007 with her son. She was an active member of the Old Cathedral Catholic Church and choir until the onset of her illness and was a 1953 graduate of St. Rose Academy. She was employed by Gibson County Ambulance service from 1978 until her retirement in 1995. She was one of the founding members of the former Gibson County Rescue Service, was a former employee of Wal-Mart in Vincennes and took an active role in her six children's lives during their school year activities.
Surviving are her sons, Greg Hagen of Indianapolis, IN, Mark Hagen of Minot, Eric (Rita) Hagen of Switz City, IN, daughters, Kara Robeson of Greenfield, IN, Jana (Patrick) Waltz of Olney, IN, Leah Gladish of Vincennes, IN, and a brother, Tom (Sylvia) Moore of Liberty, IN. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Justin Gladish of Vincennes, Alexis Hagen of Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, Kelsey Robeson of Greenfield, and Brayden Gladish of Vincennes, a step-granddaughter, Ellen Waltz of Blue Mound, IL. a niece, Amy (Mark) Leugers and their two children, Tyler and Austin of Hamilton, Ohio, a nephew, Ryan and his wife, Julia of Oxford, OH, and several cousins of the Corts and O'Toole families of and formally of Vincennes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a granddaughter, Ashlee Hagen.
Per her request, she was cremated. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, October 6th, 2010 at the Old Cathedral Catholic Church in Vincennes from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.
A celebration of her life will begin at 1:00 with mass and a short journey to her final resting place in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
