William Steinke, 53, Minot, died Wednesday, December 10, 2008 in a Minot Nursing Home.

William was born November 23, 1955 at Minot, North Dakota, the son of Pete and Irene (Kvigne) Steinke. He was raised and resided in Minot. William attended the Minot Public Schools. He was a graduate of Job Corps out of state. After graduation he worked as a carpenter at construction companies in the Minot area. William enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked playing baseball during his childhood years. He later enjoyed playing cards and playing with his nieces, nephews, and his friend's children as they grew up. He always had a special place in his heart for children. William loved music and would often listen to his radio and records. He loved to cook and enjoyed visiting his relatives and friends during the holidays. William will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved him. GOD BLESS WILLIAM.

Brothers, Rudy (Vicki) Steinke, Minot, Greg Steinke, Scottsdale, AZ, Sister, Sheila Steinke, Loveland, CO; Half-brothers, Jon Steinke, Minot, Tim Steinke, Minot, and Corey Steinke, Tempe, AZ; and several step-brothers and step-sisters; Nephews, Jeff Steinke and Anthony Steinke; Niece, Christa Steinke; along with many other nieces, nephews, and cousins, and best friend, Pat and his family.

Private Funeral service to be held in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
Visitation: Monday, December 15, 2008, from 1:00-5:00pm in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot
Memorials are preferred to Little Hands Loving Hearts Child Development Center.
