William "Bill" Arthur Connole , 72, Nong Khai, Thailand, died Sunday, September 20, 2020 in a Nong Khai hospital.

William was born on May 20 ^th , 1948 in Minot, ND, the son of Garth D. and Eleanor (St. Peter) Connole. He was raised and educated in Minot and attended Bishop Ryan High School, where he lettered in football, track and wrestling and graduated in 1966. Bill went on to attend Minot State University, where he was active in football and graduated in 1970 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Bill married Jane Ellison of Minot at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot. He and Jane moved to Oregon in 1979. From this union two daughters were born Christine and Melissa. The couple would later divorce.

Traveling was a love of Bill's. He held many various positions throughout his lifetime that took him across the globe. He eventually settled in Thailand.

Bill is survived by : his daughters, Christine (Ray) Eckersley Jacksonville FL and Melissa Kelly, Portland OR; grandchildren, Justin Eckersley and Maddie, Ethan, and Grayson Kelly; Siblings, Glory Jean (Gary) Kramlich, Minot, Sheila Ann Connole, Bismarck, Molly Louise (Leo) Brunner, Mandan, Kevin Garth (Becky) Connole, Lake Metigoshe, Kim Patrick (Cathy) Connole, Minot, Mary Eileen Kasper, Jon Michael (Michele) Connole, Minot; along with 70 nieces nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law: Merri Jo Connole and brother-in-law: Mark Kasper.

Graveside service : Friday, August 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Section 31 of Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, with Monsignor Tim McGee of the Diocese of Crookston, MN officiating at the service.
