Wendy Lou Bjorgen, 68, Bismarck, formerly of Minneapolis and Glenburn, died Saturday, March 6, 2021 in a Bismarck Nursing Care Center.
Wendy was born August 16, 1952 at Minot, North Dakota, the daughter of Harry and Ellen (Anderson) Johnson. She was raised and educated at Glenburn and graduated from Glenburn High School in 1970. Wendy furthered her education at the ND State School of Science and graduated with a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She eventually received a degree from North Dakota State University as a Registered Nurse.
Wendy was employed at the Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina as a charge nurse for the Kidney Dialysis Unit for several years. She was once married to John Bjorgen. She had recently returned to North Dakota to be nearer her family.
Wendy was a lover of animals, especially dogs. She loved to go on long walks and visit with her family. Blessed be her loving memory.
Wendy is survived by her daughter, Emma Cook of Minneapolis; siblings, Kent Johnson, Ann Arbor, MI, Mark Johnson, Minot, Wade Johnson, Valley City, ND, Linda Kluck, Bismarck, Kirk Johnson, Bismarck, ND, Rebecca Walker, Fargo, ND, Ross Johnson, Kansas City, KS; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wendy was preceded in death by her parents, along with her sister, Diane Sanders and brother, Arlen Johnson.
Celebration of Life service:
Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot. A delayed streaming of her service will begin on Sunday afternoon and can be viewed by accessing:

Interment:
Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
Visitation:
one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
