Virginia Lee, 67, Fargo, formerly of Burlington, died Friday, January 10, 2014 in a Fargo Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Virginia was born January 9, 1947 at Grand Forks, North Dakota, the daughter of Joseph and Louise (Dalbey) Triskle. She was raised and educated at Grand Forks and graduated from Grand Forks Central High School in 1965. She attended nursing school in Crookston, MN and graduated with an LPN degree in 1967.

Virginia was once married to Jerome Lee on February 15, 1969. They had two children, Grant and Kristin. They moved to Minot, where she was employed for several years as a nurse. She had also been employed as a server at the Minot Elks Lodge and Speedway Restaurant near Burlington. She lived for a time in Bowman and Mandan before returning to Burlington, where she lived until 2011 when the flood occurred. She moved to Fargo in July of 2011.

Virginia was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Burlington, where she was active with the Church Circle group. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers, especially at Francie Miller's large garden. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their many functions.

Her loving family includes, children, Kristin (Pete) Kowalczyk, Minot, Grant (Cindy) Lee, Fargo; mother, Louise Triskle, Velva; grandchildren Samantha Morgan, Nicholas & Ryan Lee, Sasha & Joseph Kowalczyk; sister, Beverly (Vern) Whitten, Fargo; nephew, Scott (Karen) Whitten, Colorado.

Virginia was preceded in death by her father.

Celebration of Life service: Friday, January 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Peace Lutheran Church, Burlington, ND

Interment: arrangements are pending.

Visitation: one hour prior to the service in the Church.
