Virgil Kaylor, 65, Crowheart, WY, formerly of Granville, ND, died Thursday, March 28, 2024, in his home.
Virgil Dean was born May 20, 1958 in Minot, North Dakota, to Joseph and Betty (Hoelscher) Kaylor. He was raised and educated in Bantry, North Dakota, and graduated from Upham High School in 1976.
Virgil was united in marriage to Susan Schaefer on December 29, 1988 in Las Vegas, NV at The Chapel of The Roses. The couple made their home in Minot, ND and then in 1997 Granville, ND until moving to Crowheart, Wyoming in 2023 He was employed at Westlie Motor Company and Swenson RV in sales for 36 years. Virgil retired in May 2023.
Virgil was a member of First Lutheran Church in Granville, ND. His hobbies and interests included playing music with his father, brother and friends. He enjoyed gardening, canning, having a cold beer and spending time with his family, friends and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Susan; children: Kylie (Britt) O'Neal, James Kaylor, Kaycee Kaylor & Kyler Kaylor; grandchildren: Chaysin O'Neal & Teall O'Neal & Tripp Kaylor; siblings: Gary (Carolee) Kaylor, Upham, Tim Kaylor, Minot, Elizabeth (Cory) Bercier, Bottineau, Jonathan Kaylor, Bantry, and Sarah Kaylor, Bantry; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law: Deanna Kaylor.
