Verdeen E. Schei, 67, Minot, died Saturday, December 28, 2013 in a Minot nursing home

Verdeen was born on April 29, 1946 in Bottineau, North Dakota, the son of Verdine and Donna (Lawrence) Schei.

Verdeen entered into active duty service with the United States Army and honorably served in Korea. Verdeen was united in marriage to Verna Wittliff on October 21, 1965.

He is survived by his wife, Verna; son, Jeff Schei, St. Michael, Minnesota; daughter, Kelly (John) Larson, Minot; brother, Randy of California; sister, Margaret of California; five grandchildren, Shayle, Austin, Malerie, Jeff and Lindsey.

Verdeen was preceded in death by his parents.

Service: The family requested that there be no service.
Visitation : A memorial register book can be signed on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from noon 5:00 p.m in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
