Tylor Witt, 33, Minot, died Sunday, May 8, 2016, in Minot.

Tylor was born May 21, 1982, in Minot, ND to Kalleen Bertsch and Less Witt. He was raised in Roseglen and attended school in Parshall, ND and Job Corp in Minot.

Tylor enlisted into the US Army following his schooling serving his country until his discharge. He lived in California for 8 years and was employed by the Winco's Grocery Chain.

Tylor returned to North Dakota in 2011 working in the area. He began building a life with his girlfriend Karen in 2013. He started at Cashwise Foods that same year working his way to assistant manager.

Tylor enjoyed the outdoors where he fed his passion for water. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was pretty good on a skateboard. Tylor loved spending time with his children, who reflected his personality and traits so much that Harley Jo was blessed with his fire red hair. He will be missed for all of the qualities that made him a father, son, brother and friend that we will forever miss.

Tylor is survived by his children, Matthew and Gavin, Chico, CA and Harley Jo, Minot; parents, Kalleen and Leroy Slind, Minot and Les Witt, Chico, CA; maternal grandmother, Irene Bertsch, Burlington, ND and paternal grandmother, Marilyn Brown, North Carolina and Millie Witt, Nebraska; brother, Troy Witt, San Diego, CA and Ayden Witt, Chico, CA; girlfriend, Karen Johnson-Swenson and her children, Abby and Zander, Minot; aunts and uncles, Jerome and Michelle Gruenberg, Burlington, Van and Stacy Pederson, Roseglen, ND, Scott and Nealie Bertsch, Minot, Jon and Kristi Bertsch, Burlington, Gary Slind, Roseglen, Mike and Linda Slind, Roseglen, Ron and Arlene Behm, Des Lacs, Beverly (Phil) Esposito, Maleverne, NY, Donna (Jerry) Witt-Gannon, Cambellsport, Wisconsin and Barb (Stan) Henderson, Minot, Lori (Kurt) Helseth, Minot, Brenda Witt, West Fargo, ND, James Witt, Velva, ND, Marcella (Dale) Fenske, Omaha, NE along with many cousins.

Tylor was preceded in death by grandfathers, Larry Bertsch and Don Witt, and grandparents, Cristel and Melvin Slind, Darel Brown and uncle, Gary Witt.

Celebration of Life Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2016, at Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park at a later date.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016, from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.

Memorials are preferred.
