Timothy "Tim" Helm, 55, Minot, died Monday, May 23, 2011 in his home.

Tim was born January 3, 1956 in Minot, ND, the son of Howard and Freda (Binder) Helm. He was raised in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1974. He has been employed at Service Shoe Shop for more than thirty years, repairing shoes, boots, gloves and all types of leather and athletic gear. He also made custom cowboy boots.

Tim enjoyed hunting and fishing, along with spending time with his two good friends, Terry Price and Larry Spiros and their families.

Tim's loving family includes , his mother, Freda Helm, Minot, sister, Anne (Terry) Davis, Minot, brothers, Kris Helm, Minot, Matthew Helm, Fargo and Nathan Helm, Green Bay, WI; niece, Ashley Davis and nephews, Garrett and Brandon Davis.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Howard.

Funeral service : Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in Our Redeemer's Lutheran Brethren Church, Minot.
Interment : Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: Monday, May 30th from 3:00-7:00 pm. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family prefers memorials.
