Thomas Boechler, 65, of Minot, ND, peacefully passed away January 4th, 2024 in a Minot hospital.

Thomas Nicholas Boechler was born December 18, 1958 in Fargo, ND. At the age of 2 months old he was adopted by his loving parents August and Beverly (Stalwick) Boechler. He was raised and educated in Velva, ND.

Tom worked at the power plants after high school. Later he moved to Minot to work at Morris Rod Weeder and later at Gooseneck Implement. He was a dedicated parts man.

Tom enjoyed watching sports. His favorite were the Lakers, Vikings, and the Twins. He mostly enjoyed watching his sons play sports and attended every game possible. He had a great passion for hunting and fishing and taught his sons the love of these sports.

Later in life he enjoyed gardening and sharing his produce with family and friends. He mastered the art of making the best salsa.

Tom is survived by his former wife Jeanie Tiefenthaler, Bismarck, ND; his sons: Chris (Teona) Boechler, Minot, ND, Derek (Brittany) Boechler, Jamestown, ND, and Cody Boechler, Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren: Colton Boechler, Grand Forks, ND, Hayden and Bowden Boechler, Jamestown, ND and Berkley Boechler, Minot, ND.

He was preceded in death by his father August Boechler and mother, Beverly Boechler, Velva, ND and companion Brenda Isaacson, Minot, ND.

Memorial Service: 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church, Minot.
