Thelma A. "Sue" Serdahl , 82, Seattle, WA and formerly of Minot, died Monday, June 30, 2008.

Thelma was born January 29, 1926 at Max, North Dakota, the daughter of Thor "Tom" and Laura Tofstad. She was raised and educated in the Max area and worked as a waitress before her marriage to Neal L. Serdahl on May 24, 1947 at Plentywood, MT. They made their home in Minot where she was employed with Swift and Company, a local bakery and Service Printers. They moved to the Seattle, Washington area in 1955, where along with being a wife, mother and homemaker, she worked at a flower shop. Neal died May 20, 2004.

Sue loved to bake, sew and crochet, along with tending to their flower garden and yard. She enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Seattle Mariners. But most of all, she enjoyed playing her accordion and entertaining with her husband at musical events.

Her loving family includes: Daughter: Candice Serdahl, Seattle, WA; Son: Leonard (Nancy) Serdahl, Bonney Lake, WA, Grandsons: Lenny and Justin Serdahl, Bonney Lake, WA; several nieces and nephews.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Ted, Trygve and Roy Tofstad and sister, Lilly Wakefield.

Funeral service : Friday, July 11, 2008 at 11:00a.m. in First Presbyterian Church, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: Thursday from 4:00-7:00pm in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association, American Lung Association or Arthritis Foundation.
