Terrance Lynn "Terry" Paulson , 52, Minot and formerly of Stanley died on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 in a Minot hospital.

Terry was born on December 20, 1953 at the Stanley, ND Community Hospital to Warren and Dolores (Huff) Paulson. He and his twin Thomas were the first twins born at the "new" Stanley Hospital. Terry was raised at rural Stanley and graduated with honors from Stanley High School in 1972. While in high school he was active in chorus, stage band and concert band. Terry auditioned on the slide trombone and was accepted to play in the National FFA Band at their national convention. Also, he was a member of the North Dakota All State Band.

Terry attended Minot State University for two years prior to completing his BA degree in social science at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. Following his graduation he was employed as a Page for the State of North Dakota House of Representatives and was promoted to House Calendar Clerk.

Terry moved to Minneapolis where he was employed by Hennepin County Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) as a Senior Financial Officer. Later, he assumed the position of Medical Specialist for his unit. He loved this job and dedicated his heart to it.

In 1990 Terry was involved in an accident, and he became disabled at this time. Since his illness, he lived in California, Moorhead, and most recently had been residing in Minot.

Terry was a devout Christian and enjoyed attending church and his passion was music, excelling in piano and trombone. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Terry's loving family includes his parents: Warren and Dolores Paulson; identical twin brother: Thomas of San Jose CA; brothers: Roger (Darlene) of Bakersfield CA and Rick (Debbie) of Bismarck ND; sister: Kathy (Bruce) Liudahl of Williston ND; as well as eleven nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother: Curtis; maternal grandparents: Claude and Ruby Huff, and paternal grandparents: Henry and Pauline Paulson.

Funeral Service : Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in Vincent United Methodist Church - Minot.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens - Minot.
Visitation : Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
