Terrance Allen "Terry" Ellingson, 73, Surrey died on Friday, March 13, 2015 in his home.

Terrance was born on March 4, 1942 in Spokane, Washington to Leonard and Ruby (Tenderholt). He was raised and educated in Minot, graduated from Minot High School and received specialized schooling at the Minot Business College.

Terry married Marion Feist on July 9, 1966 in Towner. They made their home in Surrey where they were the parents of seven children and he was employed by Jim Ryan Chevrolet Automotive Center for 40 years retiring in 2012 as the Service Manager.

Terry was a former member of the Moose Lodge, Minot and was an avid toy collector in his free time.

Terry's family includes his children: Dean (Dawn) Godejohn of Minot; Loren (Barb) Godejohn of Naugatuck, CT; Dan (Barb) Godejohn of Milford, CT; Lynn Godejohn of Minot; Dale Godejohn of Fargo; Terrance (Blenda) Ellingson of Naugatuck, CT and Scott Ellingson of Milford, CT; fifteen grandchildren; two siblings and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Funeral Service: Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Thomas Family Funeral Home Chapel
Visitation: Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
