Obituary

Taylor Allen Flory, 22, of Harvey and formerly of Sawyer died on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Sawyer.

Taylor was born on March 2, 1991 in Minot to Kenny and Cari (Tomlinson) Flory. He was reared in Sawyer, attended Sawyer School and graduated from Sawyer High School in 2009. During his high school years he was a member of the high school basketball team, loved baseball and was employed at Peters Honey Farm. Following graduation, he was employed by the DME Railroad in Huron SD as a conductor. Most recently, he was employed by WATCO companies in Tioga as a conductor. His career passion was the railroad. He loved the smell of the engines and he was never disappointed to go to work

Taylor's hobbies and special interests included snowboarding, country cruisin, mudding(with Big Red), camping and campfires as well as going out at sunset and taking pictures. He loved his family, his friends and and the beauty of nature.

Taylor's loving family includes his parents, Kenny and Cari Flory of Harvey; sisters: Ginger of Velva and Lola and Natasha both of Harvey; nieces and nephews: Brooke, Kaleb, Jack and Maddyx; grandparents: Carol and LeRoy Lindekugel of Minot and Allen and Janice Tomlinson of Benedict; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Taylor was preceded in death by his grandfather Ken Flory; great-grandmother Alice Vannett and uncles: Walter Peters and John Haugen.

The infectious love that Taylor had for his family is what motivated him on a daily basis. He left his job in South Dakota to be closer to his family.

Celebration of the Life of Taylor Flory : Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Sawyer School Auditorium.
Visitation: Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials are preferred.
