Tani Lynn Heiser, 72, Rural Max, ND, died Friday, August 30, 2019 in a Minot Hospital.

Tani was born March 4, 1947, the daughter of Bob and Queenie (Baker) Callen in Naples, Italy, while her father was stationed there with the United States Army following World War II. She moved with her family to Pound Ridge, New York, where she was raised and educated. She furthered her education at a college in New Orleans and later received a scholarship in France for dance.

In 1972, she met the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Heiser and they were united in marriage on April 14, 1973 in Rosamond, California while he was stationed in the United States Air Force. They moved to Minot in 1984 with the Air Force and she was employed at the Base Exchange and Choice Hotels locally.

Tani enjoyed working with her flowers, watching dance programs along with visiting with her many friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bob Heiser of Rural Max; her dog, Max and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert.

Celebration of Life service: Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Visitation: At her request, there will not be a viewing, however friends may sign the memorial register book one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
