Sylvia Rae Van Camp, 93, Minot, died Thursday, February 14, 2008 in a Minot Nursing Home.

Sylvia was born March 31, 1914 at St. John, North Dakota, the daughter of Roy and Margaret (Shaver) Van Camp. She was raised and educated at St. John and graduated from High School there. Sylvia attended Minot State College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She was employed with Northwest Clinic in Minot, where she worked for more than forty years as a lab technician.

Sylvia has continued to make her home in Minot throughout the years with her parents and sister, Clara. She entered Trinity Homes in 2001

Sylvia was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Minot, where she was active in the Church's Women's Ministries group and served as a Sunday school teacher. Sylvia was well known by many for always praying for others.

Her loving family includes : Sister: Clara Van Camp, Minot.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service: Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 2:00pm in Trinity Homes Chapel, Minot
Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
Visitation: Monday from 2:00-7:00pm in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to an organization of the donors choice.
