Susan Hager, 74, Minot died on Monday, February 10, 2020 in a Velva care center following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Susan Lydia Hager was born on March 26, 1945 in Minot to Vernon and Maren (Anderson) White. She was raised and educated in Minot, graduated from Minot High School in 1963 and attended Minot State College for two years. As a young adult she was employed at Dakota Drug, which is where she met Daniel Hager.
Susan married Daniel Hager on June 21, 1969 at Zion Lutheran Church - Minot. They made their home in Minot where she was employed at Dakota Drug and was a daycare provider in her home. She returned to the work force after her children entered school and she was employed at the First District Health Unit as a receptionist for over twenty-five years. She retired in 2007.
Dan died suddenly on February 13, 2008. Susan had continued to reside in Minot where most recently she was a resident of Edgewood Vista.
Susan was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church - Minot where she was active in the ZLCW, choir and Hannah Circle. Susan especially enjoyed bowling, reading, cross stitching, doing crossword puzzles, making pickles and pies. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and playing cards with her family.
Susan's loving family includes her children: Tammy (Scott) Meschke of Dickinson and Holly (Allen) Kersten of Max; grandchildren: Matthew and Hannah Meschke and Colt, Wyatt, Danny and Dusty Kersten; siblings: Kay (Dale) Mattern and Keith (Pat) White all of Minot; brothers-in-law: Dean (Dian) Hager and Ray Vaughn, both of Indiana; sister-in-law: Daniece Oldfield, Indiana and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and goddaughter, Maren Beth.
Celebration of the Life of Susan Hager: Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church - Minot.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens - Minot.
Visitation: Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
Memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church, Dickinson Public School Foundation or Ward County 4-H.
