Stephen James Greeman, 59, Deering, died Thursday, August 10, 2017 in a Minot hospital.

Stephen was born on April 22, 1958 to Jacob and Theresa (Longie) Greeman in Minot. He was raised and educated in Deering, ND, graduating from Deering High School in 1977.

Stephen joined the United States Navy on November 11, 1977 and worked as a diesel mechanic until his honorable discharge on November 10, 1981.

Stephen was united in marriage to Teresa Gustafson on April 23, 1983. They made their permanent home in Deering. He was employed with Commission On Aging and Farroh Roof Truss in Minot. Most recently he was driving bus for Surrey Public School.

Stephen enjoyed riding four-wheeler. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, whether it was camping, fishing, playing backgammon, solitaire or cribbage. He was known for teasing his cousin Dennis, visiting him as often as possible. He will be missed by all who shared in his life.

Stephen's loving family includes his wife: Teresa, Deering; sons: Jake Greeman, of Ruthville, ND and William Greeman, of Minot; daughter: Kay Greeman, of Washington; grandchildren: Zowey, Eavan, Eric and Kenya; sisters: Tina Lemer, Minot and Karol Volpat, of South Dakota and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. on September 1, 2017 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot.
There will be no reviewal, however friends may sign a memorial register one hour prior to the start of the service at the church.
