Stacy C. Roberts , 37, Towner, formerly of Minot, Max and Velva, died Thursday, June 24, 2010, in a car accident east of Surrey, ND.

Stacy was born April 4, 1973, in Minot, ND, to James Roberts and Mary (Onstad) Roberts. She was raised and educated in Max and Minot, graduating from Minot High School. She was baptized August 5, 1973, at Zion Lutheran Church of Minot and confirmed April 12, 1987, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Max, ND.

Stacy completed her college degree with training as an Insurance Adjuster in Willmar, MN, graduating the top of her class in 1999. She worked at Hartland Insurance as an insurance agent, in Breckenridge, MN for a short time before returning to Minot. Stacy worked at ING,and also at American Bank Insurance. Most recently, she was employed as an Insurance Agent for Nodak Mutual Insurance Company in their Granville office.

Stacy was a wonderful loving mother to three beautiful daughters. They all shared a love for pets that was groomed from an early age. Her other hobbies and interests included board and card games, music, walking with her children and pets, and the love of the outdoors.

Loving family includes: daughters, Miranda and Megan Walsh and Natasha Roberts, all at home in Towner; mother, Mary (Tom) Hauf, Max, ND; father, James (Peggy) Roberts, Minot; sister, Lisa Kostenko (Jared Lemer), Sawyer, ND; brother, Anthony Hauf, Minot, ND; grandparents, Ethel and Erwin Hauf; niece, Madyson Kostenko; nephew, Seth Kostenko and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Stacy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Emil and Linda Onstad, and Fred and Erma Roberts.

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2010, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Minot, ND;
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND;
Visitation: Thursday, July 1, 2010, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials: In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials are preferred to an educational fund that will be established for her children.
