Shawn Richardson , 61, died suddenly at his home in Minot, ND on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, following years of health issues.

Shawn was born June 7, 1963 the youngest child born to Robert and Jackie Richardson at St Joseph Hospital in Minot. He attended Minot Public Schools.  All through his life he enjoyed hunting and fishing outdoors, especially with his father.  He especially enjoyed Strawberry Lake and Lake Sakakawea.  He enjoyed anything with a motor: cars, boats, and snowmobiles.  As an adult, he found employment with the Smith family doing landscaping and snow removal.

Shawn will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Shawn is survived by his sister, Robin Erchinger and her husband Thomas, Mountain Top, PA; niece Elsa Richardson Blomgren and her husband Eric, Maplewood MN; nephew Capt. Christian Erchinger and his wife Victoria, Fairchild AFB, WA.

Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents, father Robert F Richardson, and brother Donald J Richardson.
