Shawn Cross, 23, Minot, died Saturday, August 22, 2009 in Minot.

Shawn was born July 6, 1986, the son of Norma Cross. He was raised and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 2004. Shawn had been employed in Minot as a cook at United Pantry, Ebeneezers and at Sammy's Pizza. He had been living with his Aunt, Sandra at the time of his death.

Shawn enjoyed drawing and had written poems and two books. He played guitar in a local band and also enjoyed cooking.
