Sandra Grilley, 77, Deering, formerly of Dundee, MI, died Monday, June 08, 2026 in her home.

Sandra Kay McCullough was born on September 29, 1948, in Garden City, Michigan, to Frank J. McCullough and Cordelia (Corky) M. Smith-McCullough-Rehberg.

Sandra graduated from Dundee High School in Dundee, Michigan, and built a successful career in accounting and office management. Throughout her working years, she was employed with Stauffer Chemical in Adrian, Michigan, University of Michigan Medical Center and later served as Office Manager for R&K Contractors in Minot, North Dakota. She was known for her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to those she worked alongside.

Sandra married Richard Schultz in June 1969. They had 2 sons, Michael and Matthew. They later divorced.

Sandra married Jonathan M. Grilley on March 10, 2000, in Deering, North Dakota. Together they shared a loving marriage filled with companionship, laughter, and cherished memories.

Sandra found great joy in bowling and was deeply involved in the sport for many years. She served as secretary-treasurer of bowling leagues for 24 years and as secretary-treasurer of the Lenawee Women’s Bowling Association for 9 years. Sandra also had a passion for traveling around for months on end in their RV. She had the gift to gab and loved meeting and getting to know others.

Sandra will be remembered for her dedication to family, her generous heart, her faithful friendships, and the countless lives she enriched through her kindness and service. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Jonathan M. Grilley of Deering, North Dakota; her sons, Michael A. Schultz of High Point, North Carolina, and Matthew A. (Sam) Schultz of Tecumseh, Michigan; her sister, Sally (Bob) Tarrant of Dundee, Michigan; one grandchild, 4 nephews, two nieces, her brother-in-law, Vincent (Louise) Grilley of Waterloo, Iowa; her sister-in-law, Terri (Fred) Locke of Memphis, Tennessee; one stepdaughter; one stepson; and three step-grandchildren.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Frank McCullough and Cordelia McCullough; her stepmother, Esther McCullough; her stepfather, Stan Rehberg; brothers George and William McCullough; her ex-husband Richard Schultz; her maternal and paternal grandparents; and several beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
