Ryan Young, 36, Minot died unexpectedly in his home on Thursday, April 23, 2020.

Ryan Robert Young was born on January 2, 1984 in Neenah, Wisconsin to John and Gwen (Bucholtz) Young.  He was honored as the first baby of the new year in Fremont, WI.  Also, he was raised in West Bloomfield, WI and in Knoxville TN, with his father, starting in 1999.

Ryan met Alisha Eileen Sidner in Tennessee and they had a daughter, Kaitlyn Eileen Young in 2001.  Ryan moved to Minot with his daughter in 2006 to be near his mother.  Ryan worked as a mechanic and construction worker at several Minot area businesses.

Ryan was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan eventhough almost everyone he knew were Packer fans.

Ryan is survived by his daughter: Kaitlyn of LaFollette, TN; mother and stepfather: Gwen and Brian Szablewski of Minot, brother: Eric Young of Stanley; nephew Bentley Young and niece Mercedes Young and their mother Jessica Lambert all of Fargo as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins and beloved dog Elvis.  He was preceded in death by his father, John; grandparents: Gene and Gloria Bucholtz of Tustin WI and Julieus Young and Lucille Young Allen of Milwaukee.

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic Restrictions there will be a private family viewing at this time and a celebration of his life at a later date.
