Ryan David Joseph Schumacker, 28 of Rugby, ND, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 in Trinity Hospital, Minot.

He was born to Penny Lawrence and David Stock on December 31, 1985 in Rugby, ND. He attended school in Grand Rapids, MN and graduated in 2005.

Ryan was born fighting for his life due to medical complications, which he continued to battle through adulthood. He braved many physical and mental challenges that molded him into a wonderful and special man.

He enjoyed video games, the computer and going to the farm to spend time with his grandpa Melvin. Ryan's passion was the Minnesota Vikings. He could tell you players, plays and scores of all their games. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his mom/best friend. He liked teasing her, giving her hugs and throwing out the incredible words "I Love You Mom!"

Ryan's strong will and jolly personality enlightened and made a lasting impression on everyone that was lucky enough to be in his life.

His loving family includes: mother, Penny Lawrence, Rugby, ND; father, David Stock, Mitchell, SD; grandfather, Melvin Schumacker, Rugby, ND; brother, Kyle (Ashley) Allerton, Balta, ND; sisters, Keshia (fianc Matt Hunter) Allerton and April (Jay) Houle, both of Rugby, ND; nephews, Zaine, Frank and Kail; niece, McKenna; honorary mother, Raneena Maskey, Minot and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ryan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lynn Schumacker; grandparents, Fern and Ken Stock; great-grandparents, Crystal and Leonard Lindman and Frank and Mary Schumacker.

Services were held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
