Ruth Ann Hartley, 57, Granville, N.D., died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at her daughter\'s residence in Granville, N. D. after a nine year battle with Ovarian Cancer.

Ruth was born March 15, 1955 to Emmett and Nancy (Kolstad) Catlin in Cumberland, WI. Attended school at the Pipe Lake School, rural Comstock, WI, then the Turtle Lake, WI school system. While she lived in Minot, N.D., she was employed at various local restaurants, and for numerous years as morning cook at Behms Truck Stop .

She is survived by her mother, Nancy Catlin, of Turtle Lake, Wisconsin, sisters Kathryn England, of Cheyenne, WY, Susan Catlin Swenson of Iron River, WI and Karen Bording of Milltown, WI, her son Christopher Blanchette, daughter Heather (Shane) Engeland, granddaughter Emily Engeland and grandson due in December of Granville, N.D. She was preceded in death by her father, Emmett, and her brothers, Richard and John.

A private memorial service will be held in Wisconsin at a later date.
