Rudoph "Rudy" Linha Jr ., 81, Minot, died Sunday, June 14, 2009 in a Minot Nursing Home.

Rudy was born August 11, 1927 at Minot, North Dakota, the son of Rudolph and Dolores (Ames) Linha. He was raised and educated at Minot, graduating from Minot Model High School.

He entered into active duty service with the U.S. Army in January of 1951 and honorably served his country during the Korean Conflict. Rudy returned to Minot in 1953, and was employed at the Minot Air Force Base as a machinist. He entered the Trinity Nursing Home in 2004.

Rudy was an avid bowler and was a former member of the Minot Elks Lodge #1089.

He is survived by an Aunt and Uncle in Washington.

Rudy was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside service : Monday, June 22, 2009 at 1:30p.m. in the Veterans Section of Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation : At the request of the family, there will be no reviewal, however friends may sign a memorial register book on Monday from 9:00a.m. until Noon in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
