Roy Steven Albin died peacefully on January 29, 2019 at the age of 82.

Roy was born on April 13, 1936 to Emery and Ruth Albin in Minot, North Dakota. He was married to Eileen Ave and together they had one child, Steven. After moving to Washington in the 1960's, Roy began working for the Duris Farm in Puyallup. Roy loved his job at the farm where the Duris family welcomed him into their family. He lived and was employed there for over 40 years.

Roy is survived by his only child Steven Roy (Kim) Albin, of Moorhead, Minnesota; brothers Duane and Leslie (Joyce) Albin, Tacoma, WA; sisters; Alice Jacobs, Edith (Ray) Barnett, Donna Denault, three grandchildren; Lacy (Dan) Lindahl of Shelley, Minnesota, Jenny and Steven Albin of Fargo, North Dakota, 4 Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his brother Allen, sister Shirley and parents Emery and Ruth.

Services are scheduled to take place Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at noon at Powers Funeral Home located at 320 W. Pioneer Ave., Puyallup, WA.

A graveside service is scheduled for a later date in North Dakota.
