Rosemary Eileen Erickson, 83, Minot, died, Saturday, February 22, 2020 in a Minot Nursing Home.
Rosemary was born on December 1, 1936 in Donnybrook, North Dakota the daughter of Archie and Myra (Bean) Johnson. She was raised in Donnybrook and educated at St Leo's Catholic School until returning to Donnybrook where she graduated from Donnybrook high School.
Rosemary was united in marriage to Maynard E. Erickson on April 17, 1959 at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot. They made their home in Minot throughout the years, where along with raising their five children, she was employed with Home of Economy in Minot for over 41 years as a bookkeeper and office manager.
She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, where she had done volunteer work in the Food Pantry running the Scrip Program. She enjoyed reading, working with puzzles and camping with family at Lake Metigoshe in the summer months.
Her loving family includes, husband of 60 years, Maynard Erickson, Minot; children, Lori Abel, Cheyenne, WY, Eldon (Penny) Erickson, Minot, Brenda (Todd) Flaten, Minot, Debbie (Travis) Sattler, Epping, ND and Mary (Jeremy) Anderson, Roseau, MN; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bruce (Candace) Johnson, Donnybrook, Terry Johnson, Donnybrook and James Johnson of Devils Lake, ND; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Renfandt; son in law, James Abel; great-granddaughter, Everly Rae Mosbrucker and great-grandson, Asher James Mosbrucker.
Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot.
Vigil Prayer service: Wednesday, February 26th at 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
Visitation: Wednesday from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to Our Lady of Grace Food Pantry.
