It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Rosella J. Rubbelke on Friday, February 17, 2023, her 95 th birthday. She was the last of her generation.
Rose was born in Minot, ND on February 17, 1928, to Melvin and Bernece (Brown) Larson. She attended St. Leo's Catholic School, graduating in 1946.
Rose married Eugene Rubbelke on October 16, 1948. They made their home in Minot and raised their 3 & ½ dozen (9) children. Eugene passed away in 1984.
Rose held numerous jobs throughout her life, working at the north hill Holiday Inn for 28 years. She also belonged to the Catholic Daughters for over 70 years. Mom traveled the world through her children and to her children; She was the world!
Rose is survived by her children: Carol, Wayne (Texas), Joan Nelson, Ross, Kevin, Claire, Mary Schiele (Surrey), Paul (Minneapolis) and Bill; grandchildren: Amber, Ryan, Shawn and Brittany Johnston, Brandon and Aaron Johnson, Jodi, John, Kelsey and Jordan Rubbelke, and Corey, Carley and Kayle Schiele.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, brother and sister in law: Robert and Esther Larson and daughter in law Beth Rubbelke.

11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023 at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot.

: Friday, February 24, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.

Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot later in the Spring.
