IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rosa M
Juarez
January 17, 1968 – August 4, 2020
Rosa Juarez, 52, Albuquerque, NM, formerly of North Dakota, died Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in her home.
Rosa was born January 17, 1968 in Williston, ND to Domingo Juarez Sr. and Mary Rose (Longee) Kollman. She attended elementary and high schools in Williston, Granville and New Mexico. She completed her Associate Degree in Applied Science in Business Administration with a concentration in leadership and management in August 2013 at Central New Mexico Community College, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Rosa was dedicated to her family. She helped care for many family members during her life often planning summer vacations that included travels to Mt. Rushmore, Camel Rock and reptile gardens. She continued to educate, support and guide all of us until she passed.
Rosa spent her working years as the Responsible Gaming Coordinator at Sandia Resort & Casino, raising gambling addiction awareness by coordinating public events and many other projects. Rosa helped people through her job, as well as in her personal life. She was a quiet yet strong person whom family and coworkers would seek. She deeply valued individual relationships with people and was a guiding light to many.
Rosa enjoyed spending time at the lake, powwow's, a summer baseball game, hiking in the outdoors and never ever missed a chance to play the claw game at Dave & Busters. We will miss Rosa's smile, laugh and many jokes. Her laugh had the power to lift anyone's spirit, especially as she nudged you as you laughed together. Her strong, positive energy could not be ignored.
Rosa's loving family includes her mother Rose Kollman, Williston, ND; siblings Wilma (Arvin) Huravitch, Williston, ND, Gerald Longee, Grand Forks, ND, Domingo Jr. (LuAnn) Juarez, Granville, ND, Juan (Cheyenne) Juarez, Denver, CO, Antonio Juarez, Minot and Guadalupe (Darnell) Crawford, Grand Forks; aunts Hazel, Mildred and Verlynn Longee, all of Poplar, MT; numerous nephews, cousins and nieces that include Charla and Carly Crazybull and life companion Angela Wallis, Albuquerque, NM.
Rosa was preceded in death by her father, Domingo Juarez Sr, brother Alberto 'Beto' Juarez, aunt Wilma Feather, uncles Alfred, Meril, Allen and Charles Longee and nephew Reuben Black Dog.
