Ronn Allen Esterby, 59, Minot died on Monday, February 27, 2017 in his home following a courageous battle with cancer.

Ronn was born on May 11, 1957 in Minot to Robert and Mary Lou (Olson) Esterby. He was reared in Minot, attended Roosevelt Elementary School, graduated from Minot High School in 1975 and attended Minot State University for three years.

Throughout his adult life he resided in Minneapolis, Fargo and Minot where he was employed as a hotel/motel manager.

Ronn especially enjoyed swimming, reading and watching old time movies.

Ronn's loving family includes his father: Robert Esterby of Minot; siblings: Eva Butterfield of Kalamazoo MI, Paul Esterby and Eric Esterby both of Minot and Matthew (Kerstin) Esterby of Fargo; nieces: Madelyn "Maddy" Esterby and Amanda Kelly and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ronn was preceded in death by his mother: Mary Lou Esterby.

A Private Celebration of the Life of Ronn Esterby will be held in the chapel of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church - Minot.
Public Visitation: Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
