Ronald Gene Jordahl , 60, Billings, Montana, and formerly of Minot, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in a Billings Hospital.

Ron was born November 2, 1947 at Minot, North Dakota, the son of Dr. Gene and Virgene (Hunt) Jordahl. He was raised and educated at Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1965. He entered into active duty service with the U.S. Army and honorably served his country during the Vietnam War.

Ron returned to North Dakota and was self employed as a painter in the Minot area. In his youth, Ron was an avid horseman and rodeo participant. He loved music and enjoyed entertaining family and friends by playing his harmonica. Most recently, he resided in Billings, Montana. Ron will be lovingly remembered by all his family members in addition to many dear friends.

His loving family includes : Children: Shawn Jordahl, Minot, ND, Wesley Jordahl, Minneapolis, MN, and Lindsey Jordahl, Sherman Oaks, CA; Sisters: Connie (Dr. Raymond) Dilland, Corpus Christi, TX, Kay Golik, Wolf Point, MT, Karen Jordahl, Wenatchee, WA; brother: Rick Jordahl, Kansas City, MO; several nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Gene and Virgene Jordahl and brother-in-law Matthew Golik.

Memorial Service : Friday, April 18, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in First Lutheran Church, Minot, ND
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
Visitation : At the request of the family, there will be no reviewal, however friends and family may sign the memorial register book on Thursday from noon-5pm in the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
