Ronald Glessing , 60, Minot, died Friday, September 6, 2024, in his home.

Ronald Alexander was born on August 3, 1964, in Minot, North Dakota, the third son of Richard Sr. and Doretta (Alexander) Glessing. He was raised in Minot and attended school at Nedrose and Minot, graduating from Minot High School. Following graduation, Ronald worked as a carpenter in the area.

Ronald enlisted in the United States Army where he served as a motor transport operator. Following his military service, he returned to the local construction industry as a carpenter.

Ronald was blessed to be cared for by his parents for many years. In his final years, his mother was his primary caretaker. Ronald enjoyed hunting and fishing, collecting Hot Wheels cars, and especially enjoyed the delicious meals prepared by his mother.

Ronald is survived by his mother, Doretta, and brother, David, both of Minot.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Sr., and brothers, Robert and Richard Jr.

A service with military honors will be held at a later date.
Memorials are preferred to a charity which cares for cancer patients.
