Ronald Hilary Edward Berdahl-Pederson, 29, Minot and formerly of Roseglen died on Monday in a Garrison hospital.

Ronny was born on August 29, 1979 in Minot to Vernon and Stacy (Bertsch) Berdahl. He sustained a serious brain injury at the age of two years. However, this did not stop him from attending Perkett, Edison and Ramstad schools. He graduated from Minot High School in 2000. Most recently, he had been residing at a REM home in Minot for the past eight years.

Ronny loved the 3 M's: movies, music and mountain dew. He loved to laugh and had an excellent memory and recognition skills. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family and friends and socializing at the Second Story. He had a special bond with his mother which was indescribable.

Survivors include his parents: Stacy and Van Pederson of Roseglen and Vernon Berdahl of Melbourne FL; sisters: Cassandra Pederson (Shad Parr) of Minot, Summer Pederson of Boise Idaho; brothers: Christopher Pederson of St. Louis, MO and Nicholas Pederson at home; grandparents: H.E. "Larry" and Irene Bertsch of Burlington; niece: Patience Parr of Minot and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ronny was preceded in death by his grandparents: Russ and Alice Mikkelson and Earl and Evelyn Pederson.

Funeral Service: Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in Immanuel Lutheran Church Roseglen;
Interment will be in the church cemetery;
Visitation: Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Thomas Family Funeral home Minot.
