Robin Dee Demaree, 42, 5110 Hwy 2 East #C-14, Minot and formerly of Towner, died Monday, May 21, 2007 in a Minot Hospital.
Robin was born December 9, 1964 in Rugby, North Dakota, the daughter of Clifford and Annabelle (Genre) Payne. She was raised in Towner and graduated from High School there. During her younger years, she worked in Carrington and Havre, MT as a radio disc-jockey.
Robin was united in marriage with Tony Demaree on October 31, 1994 at Towner. They have made their home in Minot, where she was employed by KCJB Radio as a disc-jockey and known as "Rockin Robin" . She had also worked for a time at Choice Hotels and B&D Market. She had continued her college schooling at Minot State University and was one-semester short of receiving her degree in social work.
Robin enjoyed singing, fishing and camping, as well as playing darts and spending time with her many friends and family, with whom she was a source of strength. She was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ
Her loving family includes : her husband, Tony; children: Hunter and Tucker - at home; step-daughters: Toni Jean Demaree, New Jersey and Dawn Marie Sailor, New Mexico; brothers: Gerry (Kathy) Payne, Rapid City, SD and Rick (Janey) Payne Towner, ND; sisters: Kathy (Don) Bunce, Fargo, ND, Debby (Jim) Kitzman, Towner and Penny (Bruce) Hoesel, West Fargo, ND; father and mother-in-law: David and April Demaree, Minot; several nieces, nephews and cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents and sister in law: Cheryl Fellman.

: Friday, May 25, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Congregational United Church of Christ, Minot

Visitation:
At the request of the family there will be no reviewal, however friends may sign the memorial register book on Thursday from 2:00-7:00pm in the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials
are preferred in lieu of flowers and plants.
