On Monday evening March 27 ^th , 2023 Roberta Marie Stead 'Robbie' age 78 of Westhope, ND passed away at Trinity Hospital I Minot, due to complications from ongoing heart problems.

Roberta was born on August 21, 1944 in Westhope, North Dakota to Robert and Vivian (Bryson) Stead.

Roberta lived a simple but full life on the family farm. She could be found going on walks in the summer and at times in the winter. She loved mowing her lawn and watching the cows in the pasture, working in her flower garden and puttering around the house. You could almost always find a hot cup of coffee and brownies if you stopped in. In her later years she would wait for Ron Stead to call her for a taxi ride, as she called it, to the next field or home.

Roberta "mom" is preceded in death by her mom Vivian (Bryson) Stead, dad Bob Stead and her oldest son Robbie Halstead.

She is survived by daughter Kathy (Mark) Mathwick, Bowbells; son, Danny Halstead, Westhope and many grandkids and great grandkids.

Per Roberta's request a celebration of life will be held at the farm later in the summer.
