Robert Eugene Visina, 72, of Minot and formerly of Duluth, MN died Thursday July 05, 2007 in his residence of natural causes.

Robert was born in Duluth on May 22, 1935, to Casper and Jean Visina. He was an All-American Football player at UMD and avid athlete. Bob was an agent of the Retail Clerks Union, was an agent and President for Hotel and Restaurant Workers Union, and also served on the Civil Service Commission, all of St. Louis County, MN, throughout the 60's and 70's. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.

Robert is survived by three sons: Robert S. (Emily) Visina, St. Paul, MN, Thomas Visina, San Diego, CA, and James "Jamie" Visina, Union, NJ; Brothers: Charles (Gerry) Visina, Yukon, OK and Fred (Fran) Visina, Mesa, AZ; Sister: Ramona (Dennis) Nylen, Duluth, MN; a granddaughter and great-granddaughter, many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Minot at 2:00pm on Friday July 13, 2007.
Burial will be held at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan.
Visitation: Thursday, July 12, 2007, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
