Robert Frank Patzner , 85, Minot and formerly of the Lake Williams/Pettibone area died on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in a Minot hospital.

Robert Patzner was born on August 24, 1928 in Lake Williams, North Dakota to Joseph and Anna (Walter) Patzner. He was reared in the Lake Williams, Pettibone and Robinson area. As a young adult he farmed for various family members. Robert was once married to Lorraine Weisz, having wed in 1958. They made their home in the Lake Williams area prior to moving to Minot in 1961. After moving to Minot, Robert was employed by Anderson Equipment, Boeing and Red Ball Moving Company prior to his retirement. He had resided at Trinity Homes since 2007.

Robert enjoyed playing guitar and singing, buying, fixing and selling old cars and having coffee at the truck stop.

Robert's surviving family includes his son: Andy (Brenda) Patzner of Fargo; daughter-in-law: Donna Patzner of Minot; grandchildren: Drew and Matthew Patzner of Fargo, Max Patzner of Minot and Terry Jr. (Megan) Patzner of Sartel, MN; brother: Alvin Patzner of Jamestown and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, son: Terry Patzner and brothers: Adam, Carl and Roy Patzner.

Funeral Service : Monday, November 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Trinity Homes Chapel - Minot.
Interment arrangements are pending.
Visitation: There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign a register book from noon until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
Memorials are preferred to Trinity Homes.
