Robert Earl LeMay, 74, Minot and formerly of Mohall, Tolley and Antler died on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 in a Minot hospital.
Robert was born on December 28, 1934 on a farm near Antler, ND to Frank and Tressa (Johnson) LeMay. He was raised on the family farm and attended rural school in that area. As a young adult he assisted his father with the operation of the family farm. Following his first marriage he resided in Tolley and farmed in that area. Later, he moved to Mohall and was employed in oil fields in that area. After he met Karen Witikko during the late 1980's he moved to Minot in 1992 where he managed the Robindale Trailer Court. Robert and Karen were married on July 30, 2008 and made their home in Minot.
Robert especially enjoyed gardening, canning, camping and fishing as well as growing trees and flowers.
Survivors include his wife: Karen; sister: Marion Madsen of Minot; brother: Wallace LeMay of Canyonville, OR and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Eugene and Francis and sister: Kathleen Stratton.
Funeral Service:
Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in First Lutheran Church - Minot.
Interment
will be in Rosehill Memorial Park - Minot.
Visitation:
Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
Memorials
are preferred.
