Robert 'Bob' Hoffarth, 71, of Minot, died Wednesday July 30, 2025 in a Minot hospital.

Robert Dale Hoffarth was born on November 17, 1953, in Minot, North Dakota, to Leo and Jean (Drake) Hoffarth. In 1960 and 1961, his family lived in Washington before returning to Minot, where Bob spent most of his early years. In 1971, he moved to Colorado, where he earned his GED alongside his brother Danny and held various jobs. He completed air conditioning training in Denver in 1973 and 1974.

Bob later spent some time living in Oklahoma before returning to North Dakota in the 1980s, where he lived for the remainder of his life.

He is survived by his brothers David (Doris) Hoffarth of Minot, North Dakota, and Dan (Debbie) Hoffarth of Council Bluffs, Iowa, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Hoffarth and Jean Maher; his brother, Donald Hoffarth; and his sister, Roseanne Baker.

A graveside service will be held on September 13th at 1:30 PM at Rosehill Memorial Park in Minot, North Dakota.
