Robert Darrell Guon , 91, Minot, formerly of Grafton, died Sunday, January 17, 2010 in a Minot Nursing Home.

Robert was born March 5, 1918 at Dickinson, North Dakota the son of Samuel and Rose Guon. He was raised and educated in Grafton and lived there from 1922 until 1972. He moved to Minot and was employed with JC Penney Department Store and Empire Theatre, before retiring in 1983.

Robert had lived at the Parker Senior Center until he entered the Trinity Nursing Home in 2003.

Robert was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Christian Men's Brotherhood and the Minot Senior Citizens Center. He was an avid bingo player and enjoyed gardening. His sense of humor and contagious chuckle will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his chosen family: Diane and Bruce Johnson, their daughter's and their families.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
