Obituary

Robert Morris "Bob" Fenner, 70, Minot died on Friday in a Minot hospital.

Robert was born on January 14, 1944 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Oscar and Birdella (Hoyt) Fenner. He was reared and educated in Waterford, graduated from Fort Leboeuh High School and attended Lake Region College, all in Pennsylvania.

Robert enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on June 20, 1963 and served at Loring Air Force Base in Maine and Minot Air Force Base until his honorable discharge on June 19, 1967. Robert married Sheryl Kay Stevick on March 17, 1967 in Bethany Lutheran Church - Minot. They made their home in Minot where he was employed by Farstad Oil, Stevick Business Forms and JB Express. He retired in 2006.

Bob was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot American Legion Post #26 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #753. He especially enjoyed golfing, crossword puzzles and Jets and Yankees games.

Bob's loving family includes his wife of 47 years Sheryl; sons: Steven (Missy) Fenner of Hartford MI, Chad Fenner and Todd (Mandy) Fenner all of Minot; grandchildren: Brody, Taia, Ryder, Zachery, Nicholis, Michael, Mikenna, Amilia "Mimi" and Martin; sisters: Karen (Ken) Foye of Edinborough, PA and Becky (BILL) Stellmach of Guys Mills, PA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, Wayne and Doris Stevick and grandparents.

Celebration of the Life of Robert Fenner - Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Bethany Lutheran Church - Minot.
Interment will be at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery - rural Mandan.
Visitation: Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
