Robert Eugene "Robbie" and "R.D." Dixon Jr. , 45, of Williston, ND and formerly of Ellensboro, NC died on Sunday, March 17, 2019 in a Minot, ND hospital.

Robert was born on September 17, 1973 in Rutherford County of North Carolina and resided in Ellenboro, NC until 2010 when he moved to Williston, ND because of the oil boom in that area.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Robert Eugene Dixon Sr. and Peggy Holland Dixon.

Robbie is survived by his fiancé: Karen Hamby, daughter: Samantha "Sammy" Dixon, brothers: Randy Dixon (Jennifer), Chris Dixon, and David Holland (Nicole); stepbrother: Jeff Faulkner (Rebecca), stepmother: Billie Dixon, and several nieces and nephews.
