Richard Brandt , born on January 17, 1940 in Ryder, ND to the late Evelyn Marie Brandt and the late Otto Emil-George Brandt, passed away at the age 80 on April 27, 2020 in Aurora, Colorado at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Richard graduated from Ryder High School and Minot State University. He was a real estate broker and after 30, had retired.

Richard loved spending time with family and friends.  He loved camping, making jewelry and spending as much time as he could with his grandson Hunter. He will truly be missed in every way.

He is survived by his daughters, Cari Marie Hewit and Shawnee Ann Boyd; son in law, Samuel Christopher Boyd; grandson, Hunter James Boyd; nieces, Paula Gayle Carter and Raegan Lynn Carter-Owen and many loving friends.

Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Rosehill Cemetery in Ryder, ND next to his father.
