Rebecca "Becky" Denn, 65, Minot, died Friday, February 26, 2010, in a Minot hospital.

Becky was born March 15, 1944, in Herman, NY, to James and Ruth (Hill) Chilton. She was raised and educated in Herman until moving to Odessa, TX.

Becky was united in marriage to John Denn on August 2, 1960 in Florida. Throughout the years, they made their home in Florida, Texas, California, and Guam, while John was stationed with the U.S. Air Force, until moving to Minot in 1976. They continued to make their home in Minot, where Becky was a daycare provider for a number of years and held other various jobs in addition to raising her family. Becky was known as a great cook, entertaining many guests for holidays and special occasions over the years. She enjoyed playing pinochle and crocheting but could be found at Bingorama enjoying a game or two of Bingo.

Becky attended West Minot Church of God. She will be deeply missed by all who shared in her life. She enjoyed collecting owls and had a tremendous collection.

Surviving family includes: Husband of 49 years, John, Minot, ND; Children: Steve (Patty) Denn, Tioga, ND and Buddy Denn, Minot, ND; Grandchildren, Mike (Steph) Denn, Minot and Buddy Denn, Jr., Minnesota; Brothers, Fred Russell Chilton, Jupiter, FL and Reginald (Sophie) Chilton, Decal Junction, NY; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Robert Chilton.

Funeral service: Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in West Minot Church of God, Minot, ND
Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot, ND
Visitation: Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
