Obituary

Ramona Faye Brandt, 81, Beulah and formerly of Minot and Upham died on Monday, March 20, 2017 in a Beulah care center from complications related to COPD.

Ramona was born on February 8, 1936 in Kenmare, ND to Norman and Mae (Petersen) St. Croix. She was reared and educated in Norma and Kenmare and attended school in Kenmare. She was proud to have received her G.E.D. later in life.

Ramona married Sherman Brandt on October 17, 1956 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Minot. They made their home on farms in the Upham area and in Upham for fifty-three years. They moved to Minot in 2009 and resided there until 2013 when they moved to Beulah to be closer to their daughter and her family. Sherman died on June 19, 2014. Ramona had continued to reside in Beulah most recently at the Knife River Care Center.

Ramona was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church where she was once active teaching Sunday School and as a member of a church circle and quilting group. She especially enjoyed baking, oil painting, sewing, crocheting, furniture refinishing, woodworking and gardening.

Ramona's loving family left to cherish her memory include her daughter: Jodi (Lynn) Aipperspach of Beulah; son-in-law: Brian Erdman of Upham; five grandchildren: Cheston (Amie) Erdman, Nathan (Jessica) Erdman, Lauren (Johan) Haman, Katrina Aipperspach and Caleb Aipperspach; eight great grandchildren: Callie and Gabriel Erdman, Daysha, Jaran, Tracen and Gauge Erdman and Hayleigh and Hadleigh Haman; siblings: Ardell Berg of Donnybrook and Marjorie Rogers of New Salem; sister-in-law: Beverly St. Croix of Fort Collins CO and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Waiting for her in heaven are her parents, husband, daughter: Darla Erdman and siblings: Laura Lindbald, Dorothy Nelson and Lloyd and Norman St. Croix.

Celebration of the Life of Ramona Brandt: Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in New Hope Lutheran Church - Upham.

Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery.

Visitation: Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
