Peggy Krall, 63, Minot, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Peggy Merle Krall was born on March 17, 1952 at Bottineau, North Dakota, the daughter of John and Dorothy (Reardon) Roy. Shortly after her birth with a twin-sister, Patsy, the family moved to Minot, where Peggy was raised and educated. She graduated from Minot High School in 1971.
Throughout the years, Peggy was employed as a waitress at the Fireside Lounge, Auto Dine, Lydia's Caf and Ranger Lounge. On September 25, 1971 Peggy was united in marriage to Russell Krall. They made their home in Minot until 1975, when Russell retired from the U.S. Air Force and they moved to Pennsylvania for a short time. From this union two children were born, Dawn and Rusty. The family returned to Minot in 1977.
Peggy attended First Assembly of God Church, Minot. She enjoyed many hobbies including playing bingo, reading, doing crossword puzzles, watching American Idol, shopping and traveling.
Peggy is survived by: her loving husband of 43 years, Russell, Minot; children, Dawn Krall and Rusty (Becky) Krall both of Minot; grandchildren, Shawnee (Ashlee Shattun), Brittany and Michelle Krall; brothers, John (Marjorie) Roy, Champion, MI, Mackey (Janell) Roy, Minot, and Duane Roy, Mandan; sisters, Betty (Ernie) Mock, Minot, Faye (Robert) McNamara, Kaui, Hawaii, Minnie Kreuger (Ed Davis), Minot, Hazel Bower (Jeff Hawkenson), Minot, twin-sister, Patsy (Bruce) Haugeberg, Minot, Marjorie (Tim) Eisenzimmer, Minot and Pam (Calvin) Arndt, Mandan; along with many nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; brother Jimmy Roy; sister Vivian Roy and two infant brothers.
Funeral Service: Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in First Assembly of God, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
Visitation: Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
The family prefers memorials.
