Pearl Mildred Ingebretson, 84, 223 5th St. NW - Minot and formerly of Tolley, died Wednesday, July 5, 2006, in a Minot hospital.
Pearl was born on February 2, 1922, the daughter of John and Mary (Bach) Johnson in Tolley, ND. She was raised and educated in Tolley and graduated from Tolley High School in 1939. As a young adult she worked for the Co-op store in Tolley and later for Meier and Frank Company in Portland, OR during World War II. Pearl was once married to Don Mittlieder, whom she married on June 30, 1944. They made their home in Tolley until 1951, when they moved to Minot. Pearl was employed as an optician at McCannel Clinic and as a doctor's assistant at Ayash Clinic and for Dr. William Lee at Minot Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic. Pearl was united in marriage to Leon Ingebretson on November 8, 1969. Leon died November of 1972. She semi- retired in 1980s'. After her retirement she volunteered at the Heritage Park and the Community Concert Association.
Pearl was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church, Minot, the Deborah Church Circle, the church choir and the Royal Neighbors of America. She enjoyed flower gardening, playing her piano and organ, stamp collecting, reading, crocheting, embroidery, sewing and quilting.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Lorenzo) Maldonado of Alburquerque, NM and Linda (George) Isakson of Minot, grandchildren, Jeff (Christy) Donahue, Larry Maldonado, step-grand children, Leo (Dava) Isakson, George (Bobbi) Isakson Jr., Angela Ness and Tamra Sivertson, seventeen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral service:
Monday, July 10, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. in Augustana Lutheran Church, Minot.
Interment:
Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation:
Sunday, July 9, 2006 from noon - 5:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
