Paul Stubbs, 59, Minot, died Monday, March 11, 2013 in a Minot adult foster care home.

Paul was born July 15, 1953 in Magee, Mississippi to Milton and Ruth (Hayes) Stubbs. He was educated in Oakland, California where he graduated in 1971.

Paul entered the US Army on December 20, 1973 serving his country honorably until his discharge on November 10, 1992. Following his discharge, he remained in Germany, where he would meet his wife, Beatrix Lehmann. They moved to Minot in July of 2009 and were married a month later on August 28. This union was blessed with a son, Colin.

Paul worked for the civil service at the Minot Air Force Base serving as the director of the fitness center until his death.

In addition to his love of fitness, Paul enjoyed cars with a special interest of chevy corvettes.

His loving family includes loving wife, Beatrix, Minot, ND; Children, Denise Jones, Ramstein, Germany and Colin Stubbs at home in Minot; grandchild, Tyrese Jones; brother, Melvin Stubbs and sister, Rosemary and close friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents.

A book signing time for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
