Paul A. Poznanski , 48, Stanley, formerly of Wisconsin, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 in a Minot hospital.

Paul A. Poznanski was born on January 12, 1967 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of John Poznanski and Barbara (Stroik) Krezman. He was raised and educated in Kewaskum, WI.

Paul enlisted in the U.S. Navy on March 26, 1986, serving his country until March 29, 1989. He married June Osbourne on March 17, 1986 in West Bend, WI. They made their home in Heartford, WI, until moving to Stanley, ND in 2011.

Paul was currently employed with Dakota Quality Grain in Ross, ND as a house operator.

Paul enjoyed golfing. He was a loving father and grandfather and was known to have a soft side like a teddy bear, but when needed, could roar like a lion.

Paul's loving family includes his wife, June Poznanski, Stanley; children: Cheryl (Jacque) Ledebuhr, Black River Falls, WI, Jessica Poznanski (fianc John Schroeder), Milwaukee, WI and Mark (Josette) Poznanski, Jamestown, ND; grandchildren: Steffan, Austin, Tanner, Hana, Scarlet, Anthony, Spencer, Josh and Trevor; mother: Barbara Krezman, West Bend, WI; siblings: Robert Poznanski, Campbellsport, WI, Bruce Krezman, West Bend, WI, Russell Krezman, West Bend, WI and Julie Krezman, Baraboo, WI; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A service will be held in West Bend, Wisconsin at a later date.
